Tato bakalářská práce se skládá ze tří částí: (1) stručného teoretického úvodu, (2) českého překladu několika kapitol románu The Shameful Suicide of Winston Churchill a (3) stylistické analýzy a zdůvodnění výběru cílového jazykového registru pro přímou řeč a volby slovní zásoby obecně.

Preliminary scope of work in English

This Bc. thesis will consist of three parts: (1) a brief theoretical introduction, (2) a Czech translation of several chapters of the novel The Shameful Suicide of Winston Churchill and (3) a stylistic analysis of the translation which will also seek to clarify the choice of lexis and target language register for the direct-speech passages.
