| Tato práce je koncipována interdisciplinárně. Analyzovat se budou vybraná díla Williama Faulknera (kromě Růže pro Emily i další relevantné povídky a okrajově též romány) v literárním a historickém kontextu amerického Jihu s důrazem na kolektivního vypravěče tak, jak je pojímán v současné naratologii. Přihlédnuto bude rovněž k termínu kolektivní paměť z hlediska sociologického a psychologického. Cílem práce je detailně rozebrat reprezentaci komunity zejména v titulní povídce, a přehodnotit tak její klasické interpretace. |
