| Diplomová práce se zaměří na britsko-židovské vztahy v Palestině, které prošly na prahu druhé světové války zásadními změnami. Židé obývající Palestinu až do konce 30. let s Brity spolupracovali. Vztahy mezi Židy a Brity se zhoršily díky přísnému omezení židovského přistěhovalectví, které mělo zastavit arabské povstání. Analýza pojedná o britském postoji vůči židovské imigraci, ozbrojeném odporu vůči Britům a o okolnostech dobrovolného odchodu Velké Británie z Palestiny, společně s jejími plány do budoucna. Práce se rovněž bude zabývat rozdílnými přístupy jednotlivých sionistických frakcí, jež ovlivnily budoucí izraelskou politickou scénu. Bude sledovat i motivaci a postoje významných bojovníků a politiků vůči Velké Británii. Jejich názory se do jisté míry odrážely v náladách židovské veřejnosti v Palestině. Práce bude napsaná na základě odborné literatury, archivních materiálů a vydaných pramenů. |
