Preliminary scope of work |
Bakalářská práce sleduje vliv přítomnosti polutantů (především kadmia a dalších kovů) na průběh utváření vnitřní struktury kořene s hlavním důrazem na průběh diferenciace apoplastických bariér (endodermis a exodermis). Srovnává působení polutantů na utváření bariér s dopady jiných typů stresů (sucho, zaplavení), hledá společné rysy i možné rozdíly. Práce se dále zabývá dopadem přítomnosti diferencované exodermis na funkční vlastnosti kořene (příjem živin, vstup polutantů do rostliny) a případnými mezidruhovými a vnitrodruhovými rozdíly v těchto vlastnostech.
Na bakalářskou práci bude navazovat diplomová práce v podobě anatomické studie variability utváření apoplastických bariér v podmínkách toxicity kadmia a dalších kovů u kukuřice jako modelové rostliny. Součástí diplomové práce bude histochemická detekce kadmia v pletivech kořene a hodnocení propustnosti kořenového systému pro vstup polutantů z prostředí apoplastickou cestou. Preliminary scope of work in English |
The thesis follows the impact of heavy metal toxicity on root apoplastic barriers (endodermis and exodermis) differentiation. The impact of heavy metal toxicity is compared with effects of other stresses (drought, flooding), possible similarities and differences are highlighted. The impact of exodermis differentiation on root transport characteristics (nutrient uptake, entrance of pollutants), together with interspecific and intraspecific differences are described.
The thesis will continue with diploma thesis aimed on anatomical study of maize root apoplastic barriers differentiation under heavy metal toxicity. Cadmium histochemical detection will allow evaluation of root apoplast permeability for environmental pollutants. Selected references: Lux et al. 2011.
