| Abstrakt Česká republika je země, která má relativně malou rozlohu, ale díky své geologické pozici disponuje velkými zásobami uranové rudy. Ta byla těžena na žilných ložiscích (kde bylo vytěženo celkem 77 939 tun uranu do roku 2012) a také v uranonosných pískovcích (kde bylo vytěženo celkem 27 420 tun uranu do roku 2006), celkem tedy 105 359 tun uranu. Oživení zájmu o uran ve světě se samozřejmě projevilo i na území ČR. Od roku 2005 do současnosti podaly žádosti o udělení průzkumných licencí na našem území soukromé společnosti Urania mining s.r.o. a Timex Zdice s.r.o., které jsou vlastněny australskými společnostmi Discovery Minerals Pty Ltd a Uran Limited Ltd. Konkrétně to jsou lokality se zrudněním uranu v pískovcích ve Strážském bloku české křídové pánve (Hvězdov, Ploužnice, Osečná – Kotel), tak lokality s žilným typem zrudnění (Věžnice, Tasov, Polná, Brzkov, Jamné), které se nacházejí ve Strážeckém moldanubiku na Vysočině. Všechny žádosti, o nichž již bylo rozhodnuto, byly zamítnuty Ministerstvem životního prostředí s odůvodněním odvolávajícím se na současně platnou surovinovou koncepci ČR z roku 1999. Zamítnutí se dá očekávat i u lokality Věžnice. Nová surovinová koncepce je připravena (MPO), její přijetí je však prozatím z politických důvodů v nedohlednu. |

| Abstract Czech Republic is a country that has a relatively small area, but due to geological position has large reserves of uranium ore. Uranium ore was mined in the vein deposits (where it was harvested a total of 77,939 tons of uranium until 2012) and in uranium-bearing sandstones (where it was harvested a total of 27,420 tons of uranium until 2006), a total of 105,359 tons of uranium. Revival of interest in uranium in the world was reflected in the Czech Republic. From 2005 to today filed an application for exploration licenses in the country by private companies Urania Mining Ltd. and Timex Zdice Ltd., which are owned by Australian companies Discovery Minerals Pty Ltd and Uran Limited Ltd. Specifically, these are the localities with uranium ores in the sandstone in Stráž block of Czech Cretaceous Basin (Hvězdov, Ploužnice, Osečná - Kotel), and localities with vein type of mineralization (Věžnice, Tasov, Polná, Brzkov, Jamné), which are located in Stráž Moldanubicum in the Vysočina. All applications which have either been decided were rejected by the Ministry of Environment on the ground pointing at the same time valid raw-material conception of the Czech Republic from year 1999. Rejection can be expected also in the locality Věžnice. The new conception of raw material is ready (MPO), but acceptance is far from political reasons. |
