Práce se zabývá rozšířením a vzorci diverzity podčeledi Alpinioideae (Zingiberaceae). Součástí práce jsou tabulky popisující počet druhů jednotlivých rodů v různých oblastech a mapy ilustrující rozšíření druhů. Jsou popsána centra diverzity jednotlivých rodů a sestaveny hypotézy pro možné vzorce jejich rozšíření.
Preliminary scope of work in English
This thesis deals with the distribution and patterns of diversitz of the subfamily Alpinioideae (Zingiberaceae). Tables describing the number of species of individual genera in different regions and maps illustrating the distribution of the genera are a major part of the thesis. The centres of diversity of individual genera are described and hypotheses are made as to their possible patterns of dispersal.
