| Preliminary scope of work |
| Pojem kultury se netýká jen sociologie či přiléhajících vědních oborů. Způsobů, jak nahlížet na ni a na předmět jejího zkoumání, je mnoho. Tato diplomová práce si však neklade za cíl obsáhnout studium kultury v celé jeho komplexnosti, ani se zabývat kulturou jako takovou ve smyslu jejího zkoumání podle jedné, předem dané metodiky. Měla by se po shrnujícím exkurzu do dějin „práce s kulturou“ soustředit pouze na několik moderních přístupů, vysvětlit tuto selekci a popsat tak specifika jinak poměrně odlišných teoretických škol, srovnat jejich odkaz a dynamiku, stejně jako obhájit užitečnost zkoumání kultury z více úhlů. V neposlední řadě by pak práce měla nabídnout vlastní autorský text jako příspěvek ke studiu kultury. Diplomová práce si neklade ambice přijít s novou teorií, jelikož nepředpokládá žádný druh sociologického výzkumu. Protože ale společně s proměnou společnosti a kultury musí docházet i k aktuální proměně sociální teorie, v této části práce by mělo dojít alespoň ke snaze o položení teoretických základů pro další případný výzkum, ke stanovení problému a nasměrování na určitou tématiku, předmět a teoretické pozadí. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| The concept of culture is not concerning only to sociology and relative disciplines. There are many ways of thinking about culture and subject of it’s inquiry. However this paper neither take aim to embrace the study of culture in it’s complexity or deal with culture as a whole in the sense of predefined methodology. After summarizing history of “working with culture“ it would focus only on a few modern approaches, explain this selection, describe the specifics of otherwise quite different teoretical schools and compare their legacy and dynamics, as well as justify the benefits of watching culture from more angles. Last but not least, the paper should offer its own author’s text as a contribution to the study of culture. It does not attempt to come up with new theory because it does not suppose any kind of sociological research. However the transformation of social theory takes place with the transformation of scoiety and culture so this part of the thesis should try to propose the theoretical foundations for possible further research, specify the problem, subject matter and theoretical background. |
