I was able to learn how to use computational methods to draw phase diagrams and analyze them. The course was very interesting as it allowed me to utilize my programming skills and overall it was very informative.

The course teaches about the thermodynamics and kinetics behind phase transformations and helps us to understand what goes on in the process of alloying metals or forming new materials. The course was very interesting and the lectures were very organized and the literature was readily available.
