Mr.Vitali was funny, but sometimes there was sometimes little intuition on what is going on (we just were told it was done that way). Also, there was unfortunately little feedback on our solutions of homeworks.

He has a lot of positive energy which managed to cheer you up. The explications were very clear.

He has a good sense of humour, but this does not compensate for other deficiencies. The exercises we solved during practicals were far easier than the homeworks, so when many people failed to solve the homeworks, we spent like 50-60 minutes solving those exercises at the beginning of a practical, then finally started discussing the actual topic of the practical. Solving the homework together after the deadline is fine, I appreciate that, but he spent too much time on explaining some trivial details, while entirely avoiding more important aspects of an exercise.
In many(!) cases he solved an exercise to show us how we should approach such a task, and his solution was completely incorrect. Even when we warned him that he obviously did something wrong, sometimes he did not understand what the problem was, or said that it is good enough. Basically he gave us misleading pieces of information.

He was my favorite teacher, he explained everything that everybody could understand everything. He was strict but always helpful. A great teacher!

It's obvious that the teacher wants the students to understand the subject and I thing he's pretty good at accomplishing that. I would definitely recommend his exersices.
The only problem (which seems to be common to all exercises, not just this one) is that some topics needed for the exam are only quickly mentioned in the last exercise.

I think Mr Vitali does not really understand the subject he is teaching. He often said things that were obviously false and was never able to answer my questions, probably because of lack of his understanding of the subject.
Furthermore, his English is not very good, even thought he was able to get the message across.

excellent, because of dealing only with important problems, which appear in the "zápočet" test, no difficult maths, some problems is also possible to imagine in real world

Lectures were quite interesting and absolutely understandable. I am grateful that someone finally asked about our opinion and we were able express ourselves. Even though Sometimes the lectures did get a little boring but I guess its hard to avoid. All in all I am happy i had taken this course

The lectures has both pros and cons:
It is good that materials are available on the Internet, I don't have to search information I don't know where to pass the exam, I also appreciate some tasks during the lectures denoted by "?", the "zápočet" test requires only basic knowledges, which is very good.
But for me some lectures were too fast and in some lectures there were too much information. Some pictures could be drawn on the blackboard during the lesson instead of picture in presentation (because then I see how the graph is gradually created which helps me to understand the situation)

Nice, funny, everytime asking what we know from previous courses or not and ready to fill in our knowledge. Sometimes should be more accurate in that what is written on blackboard (not in computations, but in statements, new terms, conditions - everything is said, but could be written too, without using shortcuts, etc.)

There were some mistakes at the blackboard and he did not have his own skript. But over all his teaching methods were quite good!

Hodně často se díval do papíru, ve kterém lovil vzorce, které psal na tabuli, ale jejich význam a ten text okolo na tom papíře byl velmi často ztracen v rychlém odříkání. Možná tomu přispěl i jazyk výuky. Uvítal bych proto častější zopakování základních myšlenek. Ale jinak velmi milé působení jak na přednáškách, tak i u zkoušky.

Not compulsory attendance is great. Short projects on interesting topics are very usefull.

All things are demonstrated by example/picture. Lecturer willing to prepare examples in excel.

This course was very interesting and held close to the real life. There was alsways a refernce to some known event. We even had an important Bankmanager as a visitor in one lecture.

All things explained in sufficient way to be understandable even to those not familiar with theoretical backround. Changing chapters written on blackboard and chapters presented in presentations is good - but slides could be more structured to be more clear and capture more attention of class.

Nepřišlo mi, že by to bylo nějak moc ucelené, zvlášť ke konci se probíraly věci tak nějak na sebe nenavazující. Zápisky se na přednáškách tvořily velmi špatně, neboť sice vzorce a rovnice jsou na tabuli, ale co se za tím skrývá a proč to platí, muselo být pochopeno z výkladu, který mi přišlo, že ne vždy zdůraznil o co přesně se snažíme. Aby si člověk nemusel dělat starosti s poznámkami, tak by bylo dobré mít k tomu nějaký text, kterým se ta přednáška řídí.
