Suggestions to education (Both semesters)
When the course guarantor is selected, comments will be displayed regarding his/her teaching performance as well as that of all the other teachers teaching the course. If a teacher who is not the course guarantor is selected, only comments related to his/her teaching will be displayed.

| Positives:
- Mr. Ferner is a hilarious man, his classes were always funny and he also knows how to teach. - Regarding English for special purposes (math English), he knew what was important and what was not, since he helps create the tests. - At the beginning he clearly laid out the criteria necessary for fulfilling the subject with the dates. - The zápočet criteria were not difficult, but not super easy. Negatives: - He didn't pay much attention to grammar, he assumed we already knew it. - Sometimes he talked too much and as a result we didn't cover what we needed to. PS: Do get the paper version of the books. |

| Pan Ferner býval na hodiny připravený dobře. Mívali jsme různé druhy cvičení, ale výuka se často zadrhávala a byla docela pomalá a nudná. Někdy by to chtělo se i zvednout ze židle a odlehčit atmosféru třeba nějakou hrou.
Věřím, že přístup "používat nějakou gramatiku a postupně nám dojde, jak to funguje" je populární a teoreticky i funkční, ale od rodilého mluvčí bych očekával, že ví i proč jeho jazyk funguje, tak jak nám ho prezentuje. To mi někdy chybělo. Ocenil bych také systematičtější přípravu na psaní slohové práce. |

| Pán Ferner výuku vždy berie s humorom, ktorý síce nie každému môže sadnúť, ale pre mňa osobne bola angličtina s ním jediný pozitívny dôvod chodiť v pondelky na Troju. Vyučujúci si uvedomoval, že máme aj oveľa dôležitejšie predmety a nezadával priveľa úloh na doma. Získanie zápočtu bolo relatívne jednoduché, čo je podmienené aj dotáciou kreditov. Za mňa rozhodne výborný! |

| I really dont know if he is trolling us but his opinions are rather mind-stopping. Apart from this, his jokes are sometimes actually funny and the lesson might be a good relief from the actual work. Dennis is a reasonable man and he plays his cards the best he can - meaning not everyone enjoyed english lessons but he made an effort to make it bearable.
From time to time there is a pair work, rather dont be late the first time because fate chooses you. Tests are long and exhausting, 3+ A4 full of filling the gaps, listening on the old radio, reading some long text or even watching a video as something additional to those 3pages. Amazingly enough, reading books are better investment than attending lessons. 100% use all 3 allowed absences, time is precious and the lessons are as i mentioned, only a break from real work. |

| Skvělé hodiny, plné zábavy i učení. Pan učitel má výborný přístup k hodinám a když je potřeba, je možnost se s ním domluvit na témeř čemkoliv (přesunutí testu kvůli nemoci, konzultace atd.) |
