Zásady pro vypracování

Základem práce je analýza postavení Lorda Speakera v House of Lords britského parlamentu. Výzkum bude založen především na práci s primárními zdroji, tedy oficiálními dokumentu britského parlamentu. Základní faktografie týkající se přímo Lorda Speakera tedy bude zpracována z dokumentů House of Lords, mimo jiné tzv. reportů. Veškeré dokumenty jsou přístupné veřejnosti online na internetových stránkách komory. Tyto zprávy budou využity zejména k analýze reformy, samotné funkce, ustanovení do funkce, voleb, pravomocí a ceremonií spojených s funkcí Lorda Speakera. Rovněž budou analyzovány některé legislativní akty, např. přímo Constitutional Reform Act z roku 2005.
