Předběžná náplň práce
The goal is to analyze the monetary policy actions of People's Bank of China in response to political pressure. Thus, the central bank's webpage and various local and international news articles shall be the main resources.

This thesis will follow the methodology firstly used by Havrilesky (1993) for the case of the U.S. Federal Reserve, and which was later applied by Maier et al. (2002) on Deutsche Bundesbank, and by Geršl (2006) in his paper examining the Czech National Bank.
