Zásady pro vypracování |
This bachelor thesis presents a case study of how women in managerial positions based in Prague experience and negotiate Czech work culture. Drawing on eight semi-structured interviews with women managers it identifies some of the key challenges these women face when proceeding in their career, including a culture of overwork, unrewarded work, discrimination on account of pregnancy, work-life imbalance and conflicts within a work team. With my thesis I will focus on what structurally helped and motivated women to negotiate these hurdles and structures of gender inequality in the workplace. |
