Bakalářská práce poskytne literární přehled týkající se role gliových buněk nervového systému (NS) za různých patologických stavů. Práce bude obsahovat přehled typů gliových buněk účastnících se procesů myelinizace a popis těchto procesů v centrálním a periferním NS. Na závěr charakterizujeme vybraná demyelinizační onemocnění, se zaměřením na funkci gliových buněk, a následně se zaměříme na probíhající a vznikající slibné terapeutické postupy v oboru.
Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce
The bachelor thesis will provide a literature review on the role of glial cells of the nervous system (NS) during various pathological conditions. The thesis will contain an overview of myelin-related glial cell types of the NS and a description of the myelination processes in the central and peripheral NS. Finally, we will characterize selected demyelinating diseases, with a special attention to glial cells functions, and subsequently focus on the ongoing and emerging promising therapeutical approaches in the field.
