Předběžná náplň práce
Crooked Media in an American media company established by former members of the Obama administration Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Tommy Vietor and Dan Peiffer in 2016. Their production included audiovisual formats, such as podcast and videos, as well as written articles. Furthermore, Crooked Media is directly involved in political activism - their activities included giving platform to activists, as well as Democratic politicians, raising funds for various Democratic campaigns or election initiatives. Their goal since the establishment has been to vote Donald Trump out of the office of President of the USA, as well as support other Democratic candidates on all election levels. Crooked media serves as an example of politically engaged alternative media and this thesis aims to describe how they function, what characterizes alternative media as "activist" and by which actions they achieve their political objectives in the case of Georgia.
