Předběžná náplň práce

Bakalářská práce „Protesty hnutí Black Lives Matter v roce 2020 a jejich přesah do celospolečenských sociálních rozměrů“ zkoumá vztah Black Lives Matter k sociálním otázkám a na teoretických rámcích politických protestů a kritické rasové teorie analyzuje ideologické proudy uvnitř hnutí i reakce na politický vývoj v USA. Cílem práce je popsat, jak hnutí chápe intersekcionální rámec, který od svého vzniku implementuje, zejména pak, jaký důraz je dáván na příslušnost k sociální třídě. Práce proto popisuje, jaké faktory ovlivnily Afroamerické třídní povědomí od konce segregace a jaká očekávání a apely jsou na ně aplikovány. V hlavní části pak porovnává dva hlavní koncepty politických opatření, která by mohla vést k sociálnímu smíru. V závěru se práce zabývá předpoklady pro syntézu těchto dvou přístupů a efektivní reflexi zájmů hnutí.

Bachelor’s thesis “Protests of Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 and their outreach to societal-wide social dimensions” explores the relation of Black Lives Matter with social matters and by theoretical frameworks of political protest and Critical Race Theory analyzes ideological tendencies inside of the movement together with responses on political development in the USA. The thesis’s aim is to describe the movement’s understanding of the intersectional framework, which is implied since its formation, particularly how emphasized is the affiliation to social class. The thesis characterizes which factors have influenced African-Americans’ class consciousness since the end of the segregation era and describes the expectations and appeals that are applied on them. In the main passage, the thesis compares two dominant concepts of political measures which are expected to lead towards social reconciliation. In conclusion, the thesis pursues conditions for a synthesis of the two approaches and an effective reflection of the movement’s interests.
