Předběžná náplň práce

Cílem práce je zmapovat a zhodnotit fotografický materiál, který reflektuje genocidu ve Rwandě a její následky a popsat způsob referování o genocidě v kontextu vizuálního rámcování. Práce se bude snažit obrazový zkoumaný materiál vyložit s ohledem na kulturní, politické, historické či společenské tradice a okolnosti rwandského konfliktu. Zohlední také etickou problematiku zobrazování obětí v tomto konfliktu.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

The main issue of the thesis is to map and evaluate photographic material that depicts the Rwandan genocide and its consequences. It uses visual framing methods. The work will try to interpret the visual research material with regard to cultural, political, historical or social traditions and the circumstances of the Rwandan conflict. It will also take into account the ethical issue of portraying victims in this conflict.
