Zásady pro vypracování

V rituální praxi dominantních představitelů Left-Hand Path a satanského milieu, v rozporu s představami o satanismu a temných formách esoterismu přítomnými ve většinové společnosti, nedochází k využívání oběti zvířat, která je naopak často v daných mileux vnímána jako nepotřebný a ničím neospravedlnitelný akt krutosti vůči zvířatům. Toto dominantní přesvědčení narušuje satanistický esoterický proud „chaos-gnosticismus“, jenž z porážky zvířete a využití jeho krve učinil nezbytný prvek svého duchovního systému. Proud, institucionálně zaštiťovaný organizacemi Temple of the Black Light (česky „Chrám černého světla“) a Templum Falcis Cruentis (česky „Chrám krvavé kosy“), knižně reprezentuje autor N.A-A.218, velmistr obou výše zmíněných chrámů.
Cílem mé práce tak bude popsat a analyzovat funkci zvířecí oběti, a to jak v rituálech samotných, tak v rámci sociálních procesů budování a udržování individuální a kolektivní identity, přičemž práce bude primárně spočívat v analýze grimoárů N.A-A.218 a dostupných rozhovorů s autorem. Doplňující materiál pak bude získáván z internetových chaos-gnostických webových blogů a magických internetových diskusních fór, které v širší magické komunitě slouží jako jeden z nejdůležitějších prostředků komunikace.
Při interpretaci společenských aspektů zvířecí oběti se budu opírat zejména o sociologické práce Paula Heelase, Woutera Hanegraaffa, Kenneta Granholma a Jespera Aagaarda Petersena, zatímco teorie Edmunda Leache a Georgese Bataille pomohou osvětlit rituální mechanismy obětní porážky a nakládání s krví.
