| Tato práce se hlásí k žánru historické antropologie války a vojenství. Jejím hlavním cílem je interpretativní zkoumání proměnnných kultury války, reprezentovaných v deníku význačného skotského vojenského profesionála 17. století, generála Roberta Monroa z let 1626-1634, a to s důrazem na koncept vojenské cti. | This bachelor´s degree thesis adheres to genre of historical anthropology of war and warfare. Its main goal is to conduct interpretative research of variables of war culture, represented in the diary of outstanding Scottich military professional of 17th century, general Robert Monroe, between years of 1626 and 1634, with a central emphasis on the concept of military honour. Theoretical and methodological grounding of this thesis is provided by symbolic anthropology according to Clifford Geertz and Robert Darnton. |
