Předběžná náplň práce
V druhé polovině 20. století prošla většina ekonomiky států OECD procesem deindustrializace a servitizace.

In the second half of the 20th century the majority of the OECD economies undertook a process of deindustrialisation and servitisation. The decline of employment in the traditionally masculine secondary sector and the growth of the tertiary sector let to a significant increase of female employment which changed the traditional gender roles. Men’s leading position in both family and society, as stemming from the position of family’s primary breadwinner, was marginalized. Deindustrialisation and servitisation let to a loss of both economic and psychological securities of the significant ratio of the male population. These losses are believed to have resulted in a “crisis of masculinity”.

This bachelor thesis aims to conclude whether the crisis of masculinity in the reform People’s Republic of China (as observed among the male population since the presidency of Mao Ce-tung employed in the secondary sector) has also been caused by deindustrialisation and servitisation, or whether this crisis have emerged due to different causes.
