The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the opinions on the newly established National Ocean Policy in the United States and through this analysis either confirm or disprove the main hypothesis - we can assume that Republicans will support this policy from obvious ideological reasons, whilst Democrats would support this policy as it originated from their administration and because of their approach to policies concerning environmental issues.
