Předkládaná bakalářská práce představuje problematiku totálních endoprotéz loketního kloubu. Bakalářská práce se skládá z části teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je zpracována formou rešerše a je možno ji rozdělit na část ortopedickou a rehabilitační. Ortopedická část poskytuje souhrnné informace o totálních náhradách loketního kloubu – popisuje jednotlivé typy moderních náhrad, operační přístupy, indikační skupiny a možné perioperační komplikace. Rehabilitační část se zaměřuje převážně na samotnou fyzioterapii. Popisuje faktory, které ji mohou ovlivnit a představuje „guideline“, který je nutno dodržovat u polostištěného a nestištěného typu náhrady. Nezapomíná ani na doživotní režimová opatření a doporučení. Teoretická část je zpracována z dostupných českých a zahraničních zdrojů. Praktická část představuje kazuistiky dvou pacientů po implantaci polostištěné totální endoprotézy loketního kloubu a snaží se o aplikaci poznatků získaných v teoretické části do praxe a o zodpovězení základní otázky práce: zda-li můžeme dosáhnout plné funkční obnovy v období 12ti týdnů po implantaci.

The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the issue of functional recovery after total elbow arthroplasty. It consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is processed in the form of a research and can be divided into orthopaedic and rehabilitation sections. The first section provides a summary of total elbow arthroplasty from the orthopaedic point of view. It describes various types of modern implants, operation approaches, groups of indications and possible postoperative complications. The rehabilitation section focuses mainly on physical therapy itself. It describes factors that can affect postoperative progress and presents guidelines that should be followed during rehabilitation after semiconstrained and unconstrained types of implants. It also describes lifetime regime measures and recommendations for the patient. The theoretical part is compiled from the available Czech and foreign sources. The practical part is a case study of two patients with implanted semiconstrained total elbow arthroplasty. It utilizes the knowledge gained in the theoretical part into practice and answers the basic question of this thesis: whether it is possible to achieve full functional recovery in a period of twelve weeks after implantation.
