Předběžná náplň práce
Most of the Czech firms are facing to the difficulties of achieving success on their respective markets. Some of them demonstrate more sufficient results than others; other are satisfied with their profitability on the specific return level. On the other side, there are some that need organizational help to cope with their position. These variances are based on the indicators and factors that have a connection with their success rate.
The main goal of this Master thesis is to discover and describe the most significant factors, or rather methods that influence the success of small and medium enterprises (SME) in selected sectors of the Czech economy. The outcomes of this work will be based on the description mentioned above which in turn will be based on the empirical research and own data collection.
Primary source of this thesis will be data set obtained from SME questionnaire form responses and ratios derived from the explored variables.
This diploma thesis will be heavily based on data collection and empirical research. Both exercises will provide the first-hand data and their non-trivial analysis. Survey questionnaires will be constructed to become the source of data that will be further explored and analyzed. Based on the relevant literature review and data analysis, several econometric models (OLS, GLS and GMM) will be devised and applied. The results will enable the author to identify the success factors of Czech SMEs in different sectors of economy, as well as to come up with policy implications for their further development and growth.
