Tato práce analyzuje integračně-politickou činnost německé spolkové vlády v letech 2005-2009 a pojednává v prvé řadě o tom, zda se ve sledovaném období v politickém prostředí prosadil koncept Německa jako přistěhovalecké země a do jaké míry velká koalice navázala na migrační politiku předchozí rudo-zelené vlády. Vedle toho si práce klade otázku, jaký migračně-politický koncept byl ze strany velké koalice v průběhu její vlády vytvořen a jaká konkrétní opatření byla prosazena. V práci jsou také zahrnuty postoje obou koaličních partnerů a je řečeno, který z nich měl na utváření migrační politiky rozhodující vliv.

This thesis analyses the integration policy's activities of the German government between the years 2005-2009 and discusses in the first place whether the concept of Germany as an immigration country was consolidated in the political environment in this period and to what extent the grand coalition followed the previous red-green government in the area of the migration policy. In addition, the thesis also brings up the question what migration policy concept was created by the grand coalition during its governance and what specific measures have been carried through. There are also included the positions of both coalition partners and it is said which one had the decisive impact on the formation of the migration policy.
