School timetabling deals with the problem of allocating lectures to rooms and to teachers at (primary and secondary) schools while respecting constraints such as curricula and teachers availability. The student will familiarise with existing approaches to school timetabling and then the student will propose a solving method for a particular timetabling problem that includes specific real-life constraints, both soft and hard. The proposed method will be implemented in a software prototype.
