Zásady pro vypracování

After the classification of tilting and cotilting modules over Pruefer domains by Bazzoni and Salce, and the recent classification of tilting and cotilting classes over commutative noetherian rings by Angeleri, Pospisil, Stovicek, and the advisor, a new area of research opens over general commutative rings. There will be three directions of research followed in the thesis, namely to

(1) Extend the classification of tilting and cotilting classes to general commutative rings,

(2) Compute the representing modules in the local case, and

(3) Examine the connections to Hochster's homological conjectures for local rings.
