Předběžná náplň práce

Cílem této práce bude zjistit, proč ve Spojených státech přetrvává jedna z nejpřísnějších věkových hranic pro konzumaci alkoholu která původně byla na 21 let zvýšena v rámci boje s řízením v opilosti. Práce se pokusí podat základní informace k dané problematice, zhodnotit literaturu na toto téma a problematiku představit ze čtyř aspektů - společenského, právního, vědeckého a politického. Práce se bude věnovat roli řízení, alkoholu v americké společnosti a problematice řízení v opilosti, vývoji minimální hranice pro konzumaci alkoholu, možným alternativám pro boj s řízením v opilosti a politickým vlivům na tuto otázku.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

The objective of this paper will be to find out why one of the strictest limits for consumption of alcohol in the world, which was originally introduced to combat drunk driving, still persists in the United States. The paper will try to give basic information about this issue, assess available literature on this topic and introduce the topic from four aspects - social, legal, scientific and political. The paper will focus on the role of driving, drinking, and drunk driving in the American society, the development of the minimum legal drinking age, possible alternatives to combatting drunk driving, and the political aspect of this issue.
