Guidelines
Bobox is a parallelization framework intended for data-intensive computations. The main goal of the thesis is optimization of the framework runtime. The code of the basic computing units should be automatically examined to detect potentially short-running and long-running tasks. The code will be then modified by inserting code-snippets for detecting various statistics useful for the scheduler. The impact of such modifications to the overall performance should be evaluated.
