In the social network where the entities are cooperating or sharing pieces of information, the aspect of trust of a member willing to depend on another member (his QA policies, his knowledge) is of crucial importance. Unfortunately, trust - a rather complex concept - is typically comprehended as a black box and indivisible concept, leading to confusion of the social network members what trust actually is. To minimize that confusion, we choose in this paper a different approach - trust is comprehended as a set of trusting beliefs (the simpler and more intuitive concepts than trust), such as a belief that a trustee is honest or that (s)he is an expert in the given domain. To identify these beliefs we conduct a survey of the
trust literature.

The Web Quality Assessment (WQA) model formalizes the customizable quality assessment (QA) process on the Web - every information consumer can define a set of QA policies, which are then, as part of the QA process, applied to the set of resources requested by the consumer to deduce the quality of the resources. To improve the result of such QA process, we introduced a concept of QA social networks - a mechanism to share QA policies among trustworthy entities to reinforce the number of QA policies applied during the QA process. In this paper, we detail the trust model underpinning the QA social network.
