Pourová, J.; Mladěnka, P.; Vopršálová, M.; Najmanová, I.; Dias, P; Fradaersada J., In 2020, our work primarily focused on the mechanism of vasodilatory action of a small phenolic metabolite, 3-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (3HPAA), using the ex vivo method of isolated rat aorta. Then, the vasodilatory effects of 3-hydroxyphenylacetic acid were verified in vivo in preliminary experiments using the normotensive Wistar rats. As we obtained a new device for ex vivo experiments, we tested the mechanism of action of other three small metabolites (3-(3-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid) - 3HPPA; 4-methylcatechol – (4-MC), and 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid – (3,4DHPA)) to confirm our preliminary results. In all cases, the new results fit the previous experiments. A description of our preliminary results is in the attachment (Results2020.pdf). [Jiný výsledek]
