This article published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry describes the development and characterization of conformationally selective polymer conjugates which target GCPII (Glutamate carboxypeptidase II), a prostate cancer marker that we commonly use as a model protein in our experiments. Although officially dedicated to a different GAUK project ( No. 1352219), this research was absolutely essential for the design and performance of the main project targeting the NKG2D receptor.

The article was published in the open access journal Catalysts in November 2019 within its special issue entitled Immobilization of Enzymes. In this work, a research exploring the binding of the so called iBodies targeted against His-tag is described. The technology developed in this experimental work is to be further applied within the project, namely for the development of alternative targeting strategies utilizing the binding of complete His-tagged proteins to iBodies as targeting ligands.
