Během kurzu bude kladen důraz na aktivní používání angličtiny, a to za využití skupinových aktivit, čtení, diskuse a prezentace. Domácí úkoly budou zaměřeny na procvičení gramatiky, slovní zásoby a psaní, a také na přípravné čtení, poslech a vyjádření vlastního stanoviska.
Dovednosti (poslech, mluvení, čtení a psaní) budou procvičovány individuálně, ve dvojicích nebo malých skupinách.

Depending on the covid situation, lessons will be in person or online on Zoom.
Zoom link to be added if teaching is online.
At present the teaching is in person.
Students will work mostly in pairs or small groups in order to develop their listening, reading and communication skills. Writing exercises will also include pair or group work since discussion helps students clarify, formulate, and express ideas and develops their skills in using evidence to back up claims. They will be asked to prepare for the lessons regularly and do their homework, mostly grammar and writing practice.

Budeme číst, poslouchat a interpretovat ukázky z různých anglicky psaných pramenů v různých žánrech a médiích.
Cvičení zahrnující slovní zásobu, gramatiku a kompozici budou založena na materiálech z knihy Cambridge Academic English Advanced, Oxford EAP B2 a dalších učebnic (viz uvedeno v sekci Literatura).
