Metoda: content-based language learning, student-centered approach Studenti si osvojují slovní zásobu a jazykové dovednosti prostřednictvím studia odborných textů. Během hodin se klade důraz na intepretaci, komunikační dovednosti, výměnu informací a názorů ve dvojicích nebo v malých skupinách, týmovou i individuální práci. |

FINAL ASSESSMENT The total assessment will consist of the following parts (TOTAL 100%) Final Assessment Scale: 0-50% = F; 51-60% = E; 61-70 % = D; 71-80% =C; 81-90% = B; 91% and more =A 1) 10% Graph description; MANDATORY; written in the class; for all students using advanced vocabulary and required structure of an introductory sentence Length: 180-200 words. 2) 30 % Presentation MANDATORY for all including presentation delivery and presentation peer feedback. Length: 220-300 words; sample in SIS. Students must register for one of the dates according to Course Plan. Presentation must be delivered in the seminar by 18.5. The Presentation must include a relevant graph, chart or another data set. 3) 40% Final Test MANDATORY for all The test will include reading comprehension, vocabulary, summary, academic/formal style, and writing assignment from the marketing field based on Handouts from this term. Pass level 60%. 4) 10% Debate participation MANDATORY for all * Debate participation may be replaced by active participation in the workshop with Mr. Angus Grundy or active participation in the discussion with Eva Lustig. More details concerning students mandatory feedback to those events to be announced in March. 5) 10% REGULAR STUDENTS class work and homework : active participation, regular attendance, regular submission of written HW (e.g. presentation swot analysis, OOH response, crisis communication).
