The seminar offers mainly these topics:

  • advanced applications in the Linux operating system
  • file formats and databases used for meteorological and climate data
  • meteorological and climate data processing and visualization
  • typographical system TeX/LaTeX: preparation and typesetting of theses, articles, posters, presentations
  • geographical information systems (GIS)

The seminar content will also reflect topical requirements of students.
