Course description
The course offers the students several paradigms of critical thought that can be used to analyze international politics in Central and Eastern Europe and beyond. It maps social constructivist approaches such as critical geopolitics, gender studies, ontological security theory, and postcolonialism. This theoretical toolbox is combined with a variety of case studies that cover different countries in Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe.
