In order to pass the exam, the students have to work out several homework problems which cover all the mandatory topics of the given semester and present their approaches and acquired results to the examiner (or the whole class). The grade is derived from the correctness of the solutions. |

The course is focused on various topics of contemporary astronomy and astrophysics which are introduced during several blocks of lectures taught by the members of the staff of the Astronomical Institute of Charles University and invited guests.
