Contents and the tasks of lexicology. The rigin and motivation of notions. Semasiology. Polysemantism, homonymy, antonymy, synonymy, comparing Russian and Czech. Word stock and its development. Onomasiology. Derivation, composition, conversion, abbreviations, multi-word notions. Word formation in Russian - Czech perspective. Differentiation of the word stock by origion and its stratification from the regional, social, stylistic and contemporary point of view. Frazeology. Lexicography.
