Experimental cinema. Its position in the context of general distribution, production and art. Analysis of some particular pieces of experimental cinematography. History of cinematography ? particular historical eras (for example the 20th in Germany), which are chosen not to be explained in evaluative way, prioritizing one dominant style to another.

Course will introduce today's development of the film as a part of visual culture. Course will compare film with other contemporary media, such as comics, computer games, or information technology.
