The Aim of study subject Internet in Role of Information and Communications Environment is to make students knowledge deeper and enhanced by skills of using computer networks and information systems and to bring students to active usage of computer network Internet for searching for information; it's sharing and remote communication.

Posláním studijního předmětu Internet jako informační a komunikační prostředí pro 1. st. ZŠ je prohloubit poznání vlastností a možností počítačových sítí a informačních systémů a navodit u studentů způsobilost aktivně využívat počítačovou síť Internet k vyhledávání informací, jejich sdílení a vzdálené komunikaci.

The target of this study subject is to equip students with adequate knowledge and competences of the field of technical devices of computer networks, the services usage of Internet including the skill of documents publishing in the Internet Network and basics of own creating of web pages, that respects of creation of valid, accessible and usable web materials. Information and Communications meaning of Internet complements the basic principles of functions and information systems administration and to teach them basic skills with real database and content management systems.

Cílem studijního předmětu je vybavit studenty příslušnými vědomostmi a kompetencemi z oblasti technických prostředků počítačových sítí, využívání služeb sítě Internet včetně dovedností publikování dokumentů v síti Internet a základů vlastní tvorby WWW stránek respektujících obecně platná kritéria pro tvorbu validních, přístupných a použitelných www materiálů. Komunikační a informační význam Internetu předmět doplňuje o základní principy funkce a správy informačních systémů a klade si za cíl objasnit studentům principy a techniky databázových systémů a naučit je základům práce s konkrétními databázovými publikačními a redakčními systémy.
