The course is focused on constructivist (and constructionist) approach to algorithmic and computational thinking development in the field of specific robotics - educational robotics and using didactic technology and interactive devices in education. The course is focused on teacher´s didactic competences development needed for the implementation of informatics and computing in primary school education. Through algorithmic activities and programming, the course opens a space for getting knowledge and skills for pupil´s computational thinking development. The course introduces to student teachers some examples and educational programming platforms how to integrate interactive / digital technologies into the educational and learning processes in primary school education.
Aim of the course -

  • to introduce educational robotics to student teachers abd to present them ways how to implement some available tools, aids, platforms and robotic sets into primary school education
  • to introduce a typology of interactive devices and their options for teaching in primary school education

  • to introduce examples of teaching methodology for computational thinking development in primary education

  • to gain experiences with simple didactic methods how to develop algorithmic and computational thinking of primary school pupils using different programming and robotic platforms and sets, especially then in Scratch

Předpokládá se aktivní účast studenta na semináři a aktivní zapojení do práce s didaktickými prostředky. Hodnocení bude probíhat na základě zpracovaných dílčích úkolů v rámci celého semestru v oblasti rozvoje algoritmického myšlení a v závislosti na využitých didaktických prostředků, tj. programovatelných stavebnic, robotických hraček (daných LMS Moodle).
