General didactics The course gradually builds the system of findings of general didactics and shows their significance for pedagogical practice. It develops an independent pedagogical thinking and the ability to understand didactics in the context of progress and innovation.

Course outline:

Didactics and its object field. The importance of didactics study. The education in the didactics system. Teaching as an integral process. Goal's funtion in teaching. Didactical analysis of the subject matter. The teacher and her/his didactical skills. Pupil - teacher cooperation. The beginning teacher. The subject matter and its selection. Modernizaton of the pedagogical content. Capacities and limitations of innovative methods. The textbook in the multimedial tools system. Learning and its control. Didactical transformation of the subject matter. Activity/experience based teaching and learning. Communicational and emotionally motivating aspects of teaching and learning. Evaluation as an indispensable part of the teaching process. Teaching methods with emphasis on activization methods.Organizational forms, focused on cooperative work encouragement.
