Annotation
Last update: SKALOVA/PEDF.CUNI.CZ (27.10.2010)
The course is a continuation of Literatura s tématikou dětství I, which is a pre-requisite. The course continues its focus on an appreciation and understanding of literature with child protagonists and its potential for use in school classrooms. There will be close readings of important representative examples from prose and poetry, and in-class activities working on reading, speaking, writing and listening English-language skills. The students will be expected to give thought to the history of and criticism of this literature, as well as to the possible application of, and extension of, the in-class activities for primary- and secondary-school English classrooms.
