Students improve their knowledge and skills of literary theory which are needed for analysis of literary texts. This knowledge and skills are built up in German. Analysis mostly of shorter texts which can be used when teaching a foreign language at elementary schools, not only for pre-intermediate level but also for elementary level. Work with the text is seen as one of the methods underlining the communicative aspect of teaching a foreign language.
