The course will introduce students to the structure of the Czech education system and pedagogy within Czech state primary schools. The course reflects the specific features of the Czech system where the majority of schools work with the National Curriculum. The course will also provide direct contact with Czech schools and pupils.

  • to have an early understanding of some of the features of the Czech education system
  • to observe teaching and learning in a Czech primary school
  • to reflect on their observations and compare them with education in their own country.
