Dvousemestrální předmět analyzuje historické události od života 13. dalajlamy, problematické období nástupu 14.
dalajlamy a obsazení Tibetu čínskými vojsky. Následuje období kulturní revoluce a postupného uvolnění od
začátku 80. let 20. století až po ne zcela čitelnou situaci Tibetu dnes.
