Exploring Art and Visual Culture 
This is a one-semester course, 1 x 2 lessons per week. 
 
Objective: The objective of this interdisciplinary course is the enhancement of the English language competence through reading of academic texts, examining visual materials and discussions related to selceted topics. The course is also focused on developing specific vocabulary and presentation skills in students. 
The course is taught in the English language and thus requires the B2 level in students. The course is suitable for regular as well as foreign (Erasmus) and doctoral students. 
 
Program: Through a selection of texts, activities and audiovisual materials, a number of topics from the fields of visual culture, visual methods and visual arts will be introduced. Also, relevant vocabulary and language structures will be practiced.
