Přednáška je zaměřena na seznámení se s oborem arabské dialektologie. Budou charakterizovány další arabské
dialekty (syrský, marocký). Bude charakterizována maltština jakožto jazyk vyrůstající z periferního dialektu
arabštiny. Pozornost bude věnována také arabským pidginům a okrajovým dialektům arabštiny.
