Cílem kurzu je osvojení důležitých ortografických a gramatických rysů osmanské turečtiny, které by umožnily následnou samostatnou práci s osmanskými texty. Během kurzu budou využívané učebnice osmanštiny a různé materiály a texty, které sahají od 14. do 20. století. Na konci kurzu student bude schopen číst tištěné texty v osmanské turečtině, identifikovat vybrané gramatické jevy a porozumět textům s dopomocí slovníku.
