The course is an introduction to Aristotle's Ethics. Close reading of selected passages of the Nicomachean Ethics
will help us understand the main concepts of this line of ethical thinking. We will focus on the topics elaborated in
books one (eudaimonia), two (ethical virtue), three (deliberated choice), six (rational virtues) and ten (pleasure and
the highest good).

Alternatively, instead of the assignments, it is possible to submit an essay on a topic related to passages discussed during semester; the essay has to meet academic standarts (list of literature, proper references etc.)
