Guidelines
The student will use data from the ATLAS experiment to study the production of the Higgs boson in pp interactions at the LHC at CERN and contribute to the measurement of its properties in decays to tau leptons.
Working with real data and Monte Carlo simulations will be integral to the measurements. The PhD student will also participate in technical tasks related to the calibration and operation of the ATLAS calorimeter subsystem.
